"You're the World to Me" is the first single taken from David Gray's ''Greatest Hits'' album. The single was produced by legendary producer Chris Thomas〔http://www.ilikemusic.com/pop/David_Gray_Youre_The_World_To_Me_Greatest_Hits-4234〕 and released on 5 November 2007. In an interview, Gray described the song as "joyous," and of his new ''Greatest Hits'' album: "a bag of happy shit."
